Production of sawn timber and pellets

Timber Trans LLC (Segezha Group, Sistema PJSFC) is the largest wood-sawing and timber processing company in the Irkutsk Region. It manufactures kiln-dried, shipping-dry sawn timber from pine and larch, as well as fuel pellets.

Timber Trans LLC is designed to process 1 million m3 of round timber per year. During the navigation period, round timber is delivered by barges along the Lena River to a berth on the territory of the factory, and in winter it is brought in by trucks.

The company leases 1.7 million ha of forestland. It has an annual allowable cut of 2 million m3 and processes 1 million m3 of logs per year to produce 500,000 m3 of timber. The production volume is 500,000 m3 per year of finished product. Its pellet output capacity amounts to 80,000 tonnes of wood pellets per year.

State-of-the-art equipment at Timber Trans allows the company to create high-margin added-value products.

The company employs 1,380 people.
