Manufacture of CLT panels

The company makes CLT panels in a variety of shapes and sizes. The maximum panel size is 16 metres long, 3.5 metres wide and 0.4 metres thick.

The production capacity is up to 50,000 cubic metres per year.

Panels can be polished on both sides, either along or across their length, for improved appearance. The company uses a modern computer-controlled processing centre for format processing, milling and cutting finished CLT components.

The entire CLT production line is controlled by a PC-based computer system developed by Ledinek Engineering, which provides production process control, production flow control and visualisation, statistics, real-time information feeds and production analysis tools.

History

Sokol CLT is a member of the vertically integrated timber harvesting and processing holding Segezha Group.

The company is located in the town of Sokol, Vologda Region, on the premises of the Sokol Sawmill and operates in synergy with it.

The first full-cycle CLT line in Russia to be delivered "turn-key".
