The mill produces sawn timber from softwoods and industry-grade chips. It has a round timber sawing capacity of 297,000 cubic metres per year.
Sawn timber is dried, processed and packaged on Valmet and Plan-Sell equipment from Finland. Sawn timber is delivered by road and water in packages wrapped in film on five sides.
The production facility was commissioned in 1940, originally as a sawmill for the Segezha Pulp and Paper Mill located in Segezha, the Republic of Karelia.
Segezha Sawmills has been a subsidiary of Sistema's Segezha Group since 2014.
Segezha Sawmills primarily sells its products to clients in Europe, including such countries as the UK, Holland, Belgium, Denmark, France, and Italy.
