Segezha Pulp and Paper Mill is one of the flagships of the pulp and paper industry built in 1939.
The mill has undergone several cycles of modernisation and renovation so that now it can produce up to 384,000 tonnes of sack kraft paper, including high-strength microcreped paper. Segezha Pulp and Paper Mill is Russia's only manufacturer of unbleached high-porosity high-strength sack paper.
The mill's chemical timber processing shops also produce tall oil rosin, tall oil pitch, tall oil, distilled tall oil, fatty acids, and sulphate soap.
Segezha Pulp and Paper Mill exports its products to more than 70 countries around the world. The mill has enough capacity to be the world's third-largest manufacturer of sack paper.
