GalichLes LLC

The logging company GalichLes LLC operates in six districts of the Kostroma Region. Its offices are located in the cities of Kostroma, Sharya, Bui, Neya and in the villages of Ostrovskiy and Vokhma. The GalichLes LLC central office is located in Kostroma.

Logging is based on the cut-to-length technology and is carried out by logging units: Komatsu machines operate in a harvester-forwarder combination. Lumber haulage and transportation is carried out by logging equipment manufactured by the world's leading machine builders.

In 2021, the Kostroma Region's Forestry Department transferred forest plots to the control of GalichLes LLC in Chukhlomsky, Soligalichsky, Susaninsky, Sudislavsky, Galichsky, Ostrovsky, Neysky, Manturovsky, Kologrivsky, Sharya and Pavinsky districts. In 2022, in the framework of a priority investment project implementation, GalichLes LLC is planning to conclude forest lease contracts for Buisky, Vokhomsky, Kadysky, Oktyabrsky, Ponazyrevsky and Pyshchugsky forest areas.

The total area of ​​the leased plots is 688,000 hectares with 1,483,000 m3 of permitted forest use scope annually. In 2021, the division began round-wood harvesting and supplying for the company's mills.

The company carries out maintenance and construction of year-round forest roads, as well as a set of measures for the forest supervision, protection and reproduction aimed at improving forest quality and productivity. Forest fire supervision and protection is underway.
