Greaseproof paper is a thin paper made of slow-beaten cellulose, featuring limited grease penetration and high mechanical strength; it is used for food packaging and manufacture of auxiliary packaging. Produced under GOST 1760-2014.

Density of the paper product is 40 to 52 g/square m.

Greaseproof paper is produced on papermaking machine No. 10 with a trim width of 2,520 mm. Trimming by formats is done based on the trim width of the machine. Available formats include 28 to 144 cm. Roll winding diameter is 80 to 100 cm. Paper core diameter is 76 mm.

JSC Sokolsky Pulp and Paper Mill produces grade P greaseproof paper that is greaseproof without top sizing. Made of 100% bleached or 100% unbleached cellulose. P grade greaseproof paper is used for automatic and manual packaging of foodstuffs with a low fat and moisture content at retail chains.

Quality indicators of grade 1 greaseproof paper pursuant to GOST 1760 shall comply with the standards in the table.
